After more than a decade of homeschooling and returning to study how children learn, I began to see the same pattern again and again.

Many children who find learning difficult are not lacking ability.

Often, the way they are being taught simply does not match the way they learn best.

I’ve watched children who seemed “behind” explain complex ideas, notice details others missed, and understand far more than they could easily show on paper. I’ve also watched parents carry the weight of wondering if they’re doing enough.

Kitfox Learning Co. grew out of those experiences.

My goal is to help parents understand what may be happening beneath the surface and give them practical, research-informed tools they can confidently use at home.

Because when parents understand how learning works, children gain more than academic skills.

They gain confidence.
